Snežana Radojičić has been traveling the world by bicycle since 2011. She is a digital nomad.

A literature professor from Belgrade, she embarked on an adventure on two wheels, not knowing that her home would become the entire world. She traveled across Europe and Asia, crossed the Carpathians and the Caucasus, climbed the Himalayas to an altitude of 5,416 meters, and traversed Siberia and the Gobi and Taklamakan deserts. She rode through the rainforests of Myanmar, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

During these travels, the books “Roll Me Around the World“, “Across the Himalayas and Gobi“, and “Nomad” were created. Snežana’s stay in Belgrade that summer included the promotion of “Nomad,” meetings and gatherings with dear, well-known people, as well as those who had never met her but actively follow and support her life adventure by reading her blog and following her on social media.

From September 1, students of OŠ “Jovan Grčić Milenko” from Beočin, members of the geography club, started a journey around the world with Snežana. They will follow her travels, the places she passes through, write about them, and plan bicycle rides. Snežana’s five-year journey will soon reach its fiftieth-thousandth kilometer. By the end of 2016, she planned to visit Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, and chart a course toward Latin America, Alaska, and Africa.

The program was recorded in Belgrade, July 2016.
